Okayâ now letâs get into todayâs episode.
HOW TO ACTUALLY CREATE WHAT YOU CRAVE
âCreate what you craveâ is something I say all the time here in this space. Itâs become a bit of a mantra. And it sounds great, right?
But letâs be real for a second.
Saying the words is one thing.
Living them out is something else entirely.
My heart every time I create these conversations with you is that on the other end of these sound waves thereâs YOUâ in the trenches of your journey, pressing play on an episode bc you need someone in your ear, rallying with you and helping you make progress, getting inspired + filled up for whatever it is you feel called to do. AND. That youâre also exiting this time together LIVING OUT the things we talk about. Itâs one thing to be a dreamer. Itâs another to be a DOER, amen?
Today, Iâm walking you through the exact framework I use in my own life to bridge the gap between those big visions + goals that get laid on my heartâand the real, day-to-day actions that actually bring that vision to life.
Today is not for you if youâre content sitting on the sidelines of your own lifeâŠ
If youâre more committed to staying stuck than getting startedâŠ
or if youâre waiting for perfect conditions before you take the first step.
But it is for you if you're ready to show up differently.
If you're done letting fear or overwhelm lead the way.
If there's a tug on your heart you just canât shakeâone that says thereâs more for you, and youâre finally ready to go after it.
Because creating a life you love doesnât happen by accident.
It happens through intentional + focused action.
I PROMISE WEâLL DIVE INTO THE FRAMEWORK. BUT FIRSTâA LITTLE TRUTH TALK:
One of the reasons Iâm sharing who this episode is for is I donât want you to get it twistedâ Creating what you crave is hard.
But you know whatâs even harder?
Waking up every day with a pit in your stomach because you donât love what your day-to-day looks like.
Living on autopilot and watching everyone else live their dreams.
Feeling like youâre always âfineâ or âbusyâ â and wondering if thereâs more to life than that.
You get to choose your hard.
Yesâtaking action is hard. But not taking action is hard, too.
What do I mean by âchoosing your hard?â Wellâ
Itâs hard to sit down and create content for your business when no oneâs cheering you onâŠ
âbut itâs harder to scroll through social and feel stuck while everyone else is growing.Itâs hard to wake up at 5am and move your bodyâŠ
âbut itâs harder to feel uncomfortable in your own skin all day.Itâs hard to pour into your passions or pick up a hobby when youâre a full-time momâŠ
âbut itâs harder to not recognize the woman in the mirror anymore.Itâs hard to set boundaries and protect your peaceâŠ
âbut itâs harder to always say âyesâ and slowly lose yourself in the process.Itâs hard to clean the kitchen or do the laundry after a long dayâŠ
âbut itâs harder to scroll and numb out while the chaos piles up around you.
Itâs all âhard.â But one kind of hard leads to more of the same.
And the other? It leads to the life youâre craving.
So letâs not shy away from the hard that makes you proud. Letâs get practical. Hereâs the framework I use to bridge the gap between the vision on my heart and the real-life action it takes to bring it to life:
THE "CREATE WHAT YOU CRAVE" FRAMEWORK đ€
Think of this like an upside-down triangle.
You start at the top with a big, wide-open visionâthe dream thatâs been stirring in your heart.
And step by step, you narrow that down into focused, bite-sized actionsâuntil youâre living it out in real time.
From dreaming to doing. From âsome dayâ to âtoday.â
There are five parts to this framework, and Iâll walk us through each in detail. But first, hereâs the overview:
âš Cast the Vision
âš Check In Quarterly
âš Create a Monthly Game Plan
âš Set Weekly Intentions
âš Show Up with a Daily Focus
It's time to move from hoping to happening. From just dreaming it⊠to actually doing the dang thing. So letâs break down each piece of the framework:
â CAST THE VISION
When do you do this?
Anytime you need a resetâmany people love doing this at the start of a new year, transitioning out of one season and into the next, or even around a birthday.
Why do we do this?
Because you need a direction before you can take intentional steps, right? Think of it like your GPSâwithout it, youâll wander, and we want you to be clear on what youâre focusing on.
How do we do this?
Reflect on the past season: What worked? What didnât? Take a moment to really think about it.
Define the areas of life where you want to grow. Be specific.
Use a tool like our Unstoppable Self Vision Workshop to get really clear on your vision.
Give your goals a loose spot on the calendar. Not every goal has to be a "January Goal" and not every goal that feels right in the moment needs to be tackled right now. Think of this as less of a TO-DO list and more like a collage of all the things you want to weave into your year. Let it flow and evolve as the year goes on.
⥠CHECK IN QUARTERLY
When?
Every 3 monthsâor whenever life shifts and you feel like itâs time for a reset.
Why?
This is your chance to course-correct and realign. Goals evolve, and so do you. Checking in helps you stay on track with what matters to you nowânot what you thought mattered in January.
How?
Reflect on the last quarter: Whatâs been working? What hasnât?
Ask yourself: Is this still aligned with the life Iâm building? If not, itâs okay to adjust.
This is the perfect time to decide if a goal needs to be pulled into focusâor maybe itâs time to let it go. Not every goal is a "January goal." Sometimes, a goal that felt important in the beginning of the year might need to be revisited or even released.
Take a look at your goals: Whatâs working? Whatâs draining you?
Pick 1â3 goals to focus on this season. Keep it simple, manageable, and aligned with where youâre at right now.
Donât forget to schedule joy, rest, and fun too. Balance is key.
âą CREATE A MONTHLY GAME PLAN
When?
At the end of the month, before the next one begins.
Why?
Because a clear plan keeps you focused and out of overwhelm. When you know where your energy is going, you feel more in control and less scattered.
How?
Decide what gets your energy this month. What are you going to intentionally focus on?
Choose goals for both your work and personal life. Itâs not just about what you do in your careerâyour personal life needs just as much attention.
Break those goals down into smaller, actionable pieces. Big goals can feel overwhelming, so make them bite-sized and manageable.
Print your movement calendar. Get it in front of you so you can visualize your month ahead.
Schedule joy and margin like itâs a priorityâbecause it is. Donât just fill your calendar with to-dos. Leave space for rest, fun, and things that light you up.
Disclaimer: Less is more. We often overestimate what we can do in a single month, but we underestimate what we can accomplish by taking small steps consistently throughout the year. Focus on doing less, but doing it well, and youâll be amazed at how much you can achieve.
⣠SET WEEKLY INTENTIONS
When?
On Sundaysâor whatever your âreset dayâ is. Find that day that helps you hit the reset button and prepare for the week ahead.
Why?
Because setting weekly intentions keeps you grounded in your priorities. Itâs easy to get swept up in the chaos, but when you start with intention, you can move through your week with clarity and purpose.
How?
Map out your week. Get a clear picture of whatâs coming upâappointments, meetings, family time, personal goals.
Choose your Top 3 priorities. What are the 3 things that, if accomplished, would make you feel like the week was a win?
Check in with your habits. Are they serving you? What do you need to adjust to stay aligned with your goals?
Plan your meals, your rest, your appointments. Itâs not just about work. Make sure youâre scheduling time to recharge and take care of yourself.
Ask yourself: What would make this week feel good? Think beyond tasks and goals. How do you want to feel at the end of the week? What can you do to create that feeling?
†Show Up with a Daily Focus
When?
Each morningâor as part of your PM routine to set yourself up for success tomorrow.
Why?
Because this is where things actually get done. You can plan and reflect all you want, but showing up with focus is where the magic happens.
How?
Time block your day. Set aside specific times for specific tasks, so youâre not scrambling or wasting time.
Write your Top 3 tasks. What are the most important things that need your attention today? Keep it simple and prioritize.
Track your habits. Check in with the daily habits that move the needle for youâare you sticking to them?
Celebrate the small wins. Progress is progress. Acknowledge your achievements, no matter how smallâthey add up!
REAL-LIFE EXAMPLESâ
Okay. Now that weâve gotten thru the framework, I know it helps to have a tangible examples, so let me show you how this framework plays out in real life:
âš Example 1: "I want to feel more energized and confident in my body."
This isnât just about weight or sizeâitâs about feeling good in your own skin. Maybe youâve been feeling tired, inconsistent with movement, or just a little off.
Vision: Feel strong, energized, and confident
Quarterly Focus: Prioritize movement + nourishment
Mayâs Goal: "Fuel + Move With Love" â Try 2 new classes, prep lunch 3x/week, and plan satisfying meals
Weekly Goal: Try one new class + prep 3 lunches
Daily Focus:
Friday: Research healthy lunch recipes to try this week
Saturday: Grocery shop + prep lunches for the week
Sunday: Find and sign up for a class to try this week
MondayâFriday: Fit in movement and meals that align with your goal
Simple steps = real momentum. Itâs about building one small win at a time to create lasting change.
âš Example 2: "I want to build deeper connections with my family."
Youâre craving more presence, less multitasking, and more meaningful memories.
Vision: More fun + intentional time together
Quarterly Focus: Family connection
Mayâs Goal: "Be Where My Feet Are" â One tech-free day per week, 1:1 kid dates, family weekend planning
Weekly Goal: Try out âScreen-Free Sundaysâ w/ a FUN activity
Daily Focus:
Thursday: Text family about your Sunday idea
Friday: Shop for picnic food
Sunday: Phones down. Go for a walk, play a board game, eat outside
Againâitâs not about doing more. Itâs about doing what matters, on purpose. Small, intentional actions that lead to big, meaningful changes.
BUT WHAT IF YOUâRE STARTING IN MAY?
Maybe youâre listening to this and thinking:
âThat all sounds amazing⊠but I didnât start 2025 like this.â Or insert whatever time it is youâre hearing this.
Friend. Let me remind you that youâre not behind. Youâre not too late. Youâre right on time. If this is on your radar than THIS is the perfect time to dive in. This framework isnât about January resolutions. Itâs about creating what you crave, whenever youâre ready.
If youâre listening today and in need of a little reset, hereâs how to jump in right now, whenever youâre listening:
â» Ask yourself: What do I crave right now?
â» Choose ONE goal for the next 90 days
â» Break it into a monthly focus
â» Choose one thing you can do this week
â» And then? Take the smallest first step today.
Thatâs it. Thatâs how it begins.
So quick recap of ALLLL that we covered today in CREATING LIVES WE CRAVE:
Cast the Vision â Youâve gotta know where you want to go or otherwise youâll be throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks.
Check-In Quarterly â Realign yourself with what you said you wanted to achieve.
Create a Monthly Game Plan â What gets your MAIN FOCUS this month?
Set Weekly Intentions â Get focused on whatâs a priority this week.
Show Up and Take Daily Action â This is how you go from dreaming to DOING the dang thing, and I love that for you.
It can be easy to start thinking that youâre missing the mark, that youâre lost, or somehow âbehind.â But friendsâ when Iâm feeling that way I have to remember that Iâm really just missing CLARITY. Maybe you just need clarityâand a system to help you move forward. And now youâve got one.
